STAFF NEWS: JOHANNA SPILLE

JOHANNA SPILLE WILL TRANSITION OFF STAFF ON JUNE 1
...but do not fear, her family will still be here at Southeast.

It's bittersweet, but after nearly 15 years on staff at Southeast, Johanna Spille is following God's call on a new chapter of her life to combat sex-trafficking in the Denver metro area. This is an amazing story of God at work in her life and she would enjoy a chat or meeting with you if you'd like to hear the movement of the Holy Spirit in her life.

As for our Student Ministry Team, we lose an INCREDIBLE person to work with on a daily basis. Johanna has been an amazing team player and a valuable asset to Student Ministry at Southeast. Please join us in praying for Johanna and the Student Ministry Team through this time of transition.

HOST A SMALL GROUP AT YOUR HOME

Hey Parents!  Youth Group could use your help!

We'd like to offer more opportunities for our kids to connect with each other outside of regular church time, but we need adult volunteers to make it happen. Even opening up your home for some students to hang out and eat pizza or play games is a big deal!

Please contact Erica Swanson at erica.m.swanson@gmail.com to learn more.

STORY OF THE WEEK

Nearly 700 middle school students swarmed the Parker Fieldhouse last Saturday night for a lock-in. Students enjoyed food, inflatables, video games, sports tournaments, bump soccer, and food.

“The goal is to create ‘Middle School Heaven,’” shared Jeremy Robinson, Middle School Pastor at Crossroads. “But if that’s all it’s about then it’s just a carnival. There’s more. We want the students to hear about Jesus and experience him in a fun way.”

The outreach event was an effort between Crossroads, PEPC, and Southeast churches. Plans are in motion to hold the event again next April.

SINCERELY,

The Student Ministry Team
