"HOW Does a sheep say, "Merry Christmas?"
THIS WEEK IN MIDDLE SCHOOL
Fear attacks us right where our faith lives and keeps us from stepping into the plans God has for us. Our December Teaching Series, Fear Not, helps us overcome fear and transform it into faith and obedience. God will always give us the guidance we need to reject fear.
This week we will take a look at Joseph's story leading up to the birth of Jesus. Could you imagine? Everyone in the town must have thought Joseph should divorce Mary because she was pregnant out of wedlock!
Still, Joseph heard from God and chose to obey. He lived his life for an audience of One, not for the opinions of people.
This Week's Sermon in a Sentence:
Extraordinary acts of God often start with ordinary acts of obedience.
This Week's Scripture:
Let's pray for the students and prepare our hearts and minds to encourage taking a next step in faith.
