Amanda's Bio

Hello, my name is Amanda Burrier. I am 15 years old and I have been blessed with the opportunity to join my church, Southeast Christian, on a mission trip to Haiti through an organization called Mission of Hope.

Going on this trip is incredibly important to me because I can provide knowledge of God and the love of God to people who may not have been fortunate enough to learn about it yet. My passion is to help other kids and teenagers find the joy of knowing Christ on a personal level. I will strive to achieve the title of being a kingdom worker by leading others into the arms of God, and teaching about his everlasting love and forgiveness. Romans 5:8 states "You are loved more than you will ever know by someone who died to know you." I want to carry that verse with me on my trip to empower others to know of the great sacrifice God made for everyone.

This trip to Haiti is $1500 and to show my commitment, I want to take the responsibility of raising money myself through donations instead of asking my parents to pay for it. I am in prayer asking God to touch the lives of those He would have help me with a contribution to my trip. Any amount would be so greatly appreciated. I am also asking everyone to shower prayers my way, because I would like God's words and love to flow through me as I am in this third world country. I am thankful for every donation, and for every prayer to help support my trip. God bless!
