Adults: Singles-SOFG

You can connect with other people with similar interests or experiences at Singled Out for God. Whether you've come through a divorce, been widowed, or have never been married, this growing and life-giving community is a secure environment where you can grow in Christ and build friendships with other singles. You can join us Sundays from 9 - 10:15AM in Room 203. We typically spend time talking over refreshments after class, then attend the 11AM service together. Often we'll go out to lunch at a local restaurant after service. With several different social gatherings and events throughout the week, it's easy to stay connected. For our current teaching series, we're alternating every-other-Sunday going through the book gospel of John, and examining a Biblical discussion of "coming closer to God."

We are a group that is made up primarily 40 years and older that are seeking to grow in relationship with God and others as we live and do life together. We will meet Sunday mornings at the church to study, pray, learn, encourage, laugh, and have fun together as a group. There will be the occasional off-site gathering for fun and service. We invite all looking for the same to come check us out.

This group begins with a meeting on September 17 at 9:00 at the main church building and will mostly connect via email each week with a few gathering opportunities throughout the semester and ending on December 17th.

God. Life. Faith. What's the Point? Make time to find out. If you're new to faith, just checking it out, or coming back to church after some time away, Exploring Faith for you. It's a 6-week small group environment where you can discuss the questions or concerns you have about faith. Begins Sunday, Nov 5 at 11am at Southeast.

This group is for international people to practice conversation through small group discussion using the Bible and learning about the expectations of American culture. Meets at 6:30pm on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Friday evenings each month at Southeast.

Off-roading through various parts of the Front Range and Colorado OHV trails. Open to anyone with an appropriate vehicle. Families, children and dogs are all welcome. 1-2 trips per month, weather permitting.

Typically we ride twice monthly. Most rides are 50-100 miles with a stop for a meal, though we may schedule longer rides on occasion. All motorcycle makes/models are welcome, and all rides are beginner-friendly.

This group will introduce you to the growing world of needle felt. Even if you don't think you are artistic, this craft is easily mastered. Come learn a new craft and share how God uses creativity in our lives. Cost for supplies is $15. Meets every other Wednesday evening.

Groups: Precepts (Fall 2017/Spring 2018)

Are you an example to others? Are you confused about "the Day of the Lord?" The Thessalonians anticipated the end times, just as we do today. But we need to know how to live in such times, given the spiritual warfare that the Gospel sparks. Join us as we learn how to live out our faith while understanding what God says about the last days. 2 Thessalonians will be studied in the spring. The AM session will be held on Wednesdays beginning at 9am in room 257. The PM session will be held on Thursdays beginning at 6:15pm in room 251.

Groups: REFIT Workout Group (Haggerty)

REFIT at the Creek. REFIT is a place where workout meets worship in a way that builds community while working your heart out as a muscle and a soul. Separate child care is not provided, however, children who are old enough are invited to participate. Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30pm at Creekside Rec Center ($3.50 entrance fee) AND Sundays at 3:30pm at Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church. Choose one or more sessions to attend each week.

This men's group meets every Tuesday starting at 7:00PM and ending at 8:30PM at Southeast Christian Church in Room 251. The group was started to impact men and their faith journey to bring them closer to Christ and to build a strong foundation in all our relationships.

The vision for this group is to connect the weekend teaching to the pressures that men are facing in their work, family and social lives, and to go deeper into the issues that may not get discussed from the main stage. We want to create an atmosphere of authentic fellowship grounded in God\'s Word that will allow the Holy Spirit to illuminate a path for each one of us. We meet Saturdays 7:30-9:00am at The Solomon Centre.

"A Prayer Place" is a gathering of women every Friday morning for prayer. Come and join us as we pray over and with each other, as well as the ministries of Southeast. Our desire to fulfill the words of Jesus found in Matthew 21:13: "The Scriptures declare, My house will be called a house of prayer." There\'s no need to sign-up, just come as you are!

Support: Adoptive/Foster Parents

The journey of adoption and foster care is hard, presenting a host of challenges. These challenges can leave you feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, terrified, exhausted, and isolated. In addition, non-adopting/fostering friends or family often do not understand these challenges and have a hard time relating to those who are in the trenches of adoption or foster care. At Southeast, we recognize these unique challenges and want to help. Our Adoption & Foster Parent Community exists to provide connection with other parents that "get" what you are living. Here, you\'ll find love, encouragement, and support that will help sustain you through the hard times of adoption & fostering. This group of adoptive & fostering parents meets once a month from 6:00-8:00 pm at Southeast Christian Church. We meet to connect with others who are on the same journey, to share our struggles and triumphs, hopes and fears, challenges and answers—or to just be a safe place for those moments when there are no answers.

Caring for an elderly parent is a unique and complex stage of life—one for which very few people are truly prepared. We\'re here to help. The Autumn Project exists to offer support, care, education and resources for adults who find themselves taking care of an elderly parent. Come join us every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 6:30pm in The Connecting Place, downstairs in the Southeast church building beginning on January 23rd 2017. In addition to support, each meeting will offer a professional resource to help educate and guide your decisions, including: legal, financial, medical, and nursing care specialists.

This sacred sisterhood meets twice a month to share stories, offer encouragement, and pray together,. Come and journey with others who have walked this path, who know what it's like to be in your shoes, and who can offer you hope and for the future. Come join us every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 6:30pm in The Connecting Place, down the south hallway at Southeast.

Divorce Recovery is a weekly support group-style seminar conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing. Built around a 12-week curriculum, Divorce Recovery gives you practical information that helps you recover and heal from your separation or divorce in a safe environment. Each week, the group begins by watching a video seminar on DVD featuring real-life stories of people who have experienced divorce. Then you'll be invited to participate in group discussion related to that week's topic. Some of the topics that are covered include: Facing My Anger Facing My Depression Facing My Loneliness New Relationships Financial Survival And many more

Support: Widows Walk

"From We to Me" is a 10-week grief support group designed for widows to connect with each other. Classes are designed around topics such as: grief, loneliness, acceptance, hope & purpose. The intention of the Widow's Walk curriculum is to encourage the widow as she adjusts to her new normalcy. The upcoming fall session will be held each Tuesday evening beginning on February 7th 2017 through April 25th 2017. Meetings will begin at 6:30 pm and will be held in the Administrative Conference Room located within Southeast Christian Church. Cost is $50.

Are you looking for truth, laughter, and connection while digging a little deeper into your own faith? Share the motherhood journey with us. Moms TLC (Truth, Laughter and Connection) welcomes mothers of infants through pre-teens. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month from 9:30-11:30.

Single Mom's at Southeast is a gathering place for single moms to connect with other Christian single moms. We help support the unique challenges that you may face daily with guidance, encouragement, local resources, and a loving ear, all focused around our commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ and to serve our community by "Loving Where We Live". We usually meet the 3rd Saturday of every month at 5:00 pm at Southeast Christian Church in The Connecting Place, unless we have a special event. Free childcare and dinner is provided. No registration required, but emails are sent monthly with updates about events and optional social outings.

Women crave connection, relevance, and fun yet our lives are busy as we juggle all our many roles. The Gathering is a monthly event designed to fuel our hearts & spirits without a huge time investment. All women are invited to laugh together, be inspired by amazing speakers, & connect with groups of women similar to yourself in an environment that is totally unique and unlike most other ministries. All women of the community are invited so feel free to bring friends, neighbors, and co-workers. 2nd Thursday of each month, 7-8:30 pm in the Colorado Room of the Solomon Centre. 2017 dates are: January 12, February 9, March 9, April 13, and May 11.
