Canary Islands

Why the Canary Islands?

Every year, Mercy Ships leaves port and heads to the Canary Islands to make much-needed repairs to the ship. Once it's complete, it will head out to its next port off the coast of West Africa.

Southeast has partnered with Mercy Ships for several years, sending teams to serve alongside the Africa Mercy when the ship has been docked in various ports along the coast of West Africa. Mercy Ships follows the 2,000-year-old model of Jesus to provide hope and healing to the world’s forgotten poor, and Southeast loves to help in any way possible!
