Introduction: John 1:1-5, 9-13; 1:16-17
The book of John is both the easiest and hardest book of the Bible to read. The author speaks plainly, yet pointedly. As we journey through this study say this simple prayer: God speak to me, because I am listening.
Stuff Phil said:
“Our decisions and perspectives flow from what we believe about God.”
“Sometimes our beliefs aren’t based on the foundational truths of scripture.”
“How different would your life be if you fully understood that: a) God went to great lengths to be in a relationship with you. b) There is no limit to his grace for you, or for others.
How has God reached out to you?
Do you have a story of how God changed the life of someone you love?
Have you ever been challenged about something you believed about the Bible? How did you handle that situation?
Who is your biggest Christian influence? Why?
Do we truly believe that God’s grace has no limits?
What would our life look like, if lived with this idea?
How can you live differently, this week, to show God’s grace to your family, co-workers, and significant other?
