Hayovel Tree Planting Mission

TRIP DATES: October 19 - November 1 (Two Weeks)

Come to Israel and make a lasting difference by planting trees on the mountains of Judea and Samaria. This trip is for everyone: men and women, singles and families. (no age restrictions)

Join fellow volunteers in planting saplings at various forestry sites across Judea and Samaria. Saplings will have been started months before at nurseries. During our trip, we’ll help prepare the ground, plant, mulch, and add drip lines and cages to protect the trees.


  • Ages 13+ $1,200 + airfare (approx. $1350 presently)
  • Ages 0 to 5 $240 + airfare, Ages 6 to 12 $600 + airfare
  • Coming as a family? Every 4th person over 13 is free. (This applies to immediate family members only)

Sign Up in 5 Easy Steps

  1. Contact Steve - If you have any questions or plan on attending this trip, contact Steve:  or  720-842-5512. You may use him as your reference on the Hayovel application.

  2. Apply - On Hayovel’s websiteselect the 2-week planting trip. The application process takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes and requires a photocopy of your passport and a $200 non-refundable processing fee (this amount will be deducted from your trip cost).

  3. Talk with Hayovel - Once you submit your application and pay the processing fee, someone from Hayovel will reach out and schedule a phone call. During this call, Hayovel will answer questions and give you additional details about the trip.

  4. Buy Your Plane Ticket - One of Hayovel’s staff members will let you know how and when to book your flight to Israel. Do not book your flight until you receive a go-ahead from Hayovel. They will be filing the paperwork for your Visa to enter the country as well as picking us up from the airport. 

  5. Come to Israel - Hayovel will send us all the information we need to be prepared, packed, and ready for a life-changing experience. Prior to departure, we will meet, confirm plans, and make sure we’re as comfortable as we can be as we prepare, pack, and plant.
