NEWS AND UPDATES
May 27, 2020
Our doors are open again! With a few guidelines, we’ve been given the green light to re-open our church building and we cannot wait to see you in person!
We will continue to provide online services, which are now at 9:30 and 11:30 AM. If you don’t feel well, please stay home. If you don’t feel comfortable coming to church yet, it’s okay to stay home as well. No matter how you desire to spend your Sunday morning, we want to help create a worship experience that is effective, accommodates your concern level, and fits in your schedule.
We are now offering four worship services. Two services will be considered “at-risk” services and will be held in the Gym. Our other services are family services (Children’s Programming won’t be available in this first phase of reopening) and will be held in our Worship Center. I will be preaching in-person at all four services, and there will be live worship in both venues as well. Our new services times are as follows:
8:30 AM | At-Risk Service in the Gym
9:30 AM | Family Service in the Worship Center
10:30 AM | At-Risk Service in the Gym
11:30 AM | Family Service in the Worship Center
Before you come to church, go to our website to reserve seats. We are using a ticketing program that will allow you to select seats for you and your family. Since our seating capacity has been reduced to allow for social distancing, we have blocked off certain seats. For some of you this might be a sacrifice as you may be sitting in a different seat than you usually do, but I want to personally thank you for being flexible and patient as we are doing what is necessary to get people into the building safely.
We’re going above and beyond governmental guidelines regarding sanitation and social distancing. Here is a list of other changes that are designed to help keep you and your family safe:
- Seats must be reserved prior to the service time.
- We are striving to maintain a touch free environment.
- Communion will not be passed; you can pick up communion on your way into the service.
- Offering bags will not be passed; offering boxes are located at the exits
- Staff and volunteers will be wearing masks when possible and having their temperatures taken.
- Our bookstore and coffee shop will be closed.
Again, thank you so much for your graciousness, flexibility, and patience as we prepare to meet together again. May God be glorified this weekend!
