Dear Church Family,
Over thirteen years ago, Donna and I made a trip to Colorado to engage in a conversation with the leadership of Southeast Christian Church in an effort to see if a partnership could be developed between us for the sake of the Gospel. In July of 2005 the Vaughan family made the trek across the country to make Parker, Colorado our new home. What an adventure this partnership has been!
Over the past few months, we have begun to see with increasing clarity that God is calling us away from Southeast Christian Church. This decision is a difficult one for us because we dearly love the people of this church. Our hope and prayer is that Southeast will flourish in the days to come.
Phil and Donna
With much sadness, we recognize that Phil and Donna are being called away from our church’s ministry. They have been a blessing to Southeast Christian Church in so many ways: preaching, teaching, and shepherding as well as experiencing deep fellowship with many in the body. All of us at Southeast Christian Church are so thankful that, through their many spiritual gifts, love for the Lord and faithful service, they have taught us so much. It is not easy to let them go.
But God's call cannot be ignored and, as fellow believers, we wish them Godspeed as He directs their path to new challenges and new growth. We know that they will serve the Kingdom well wherever He leads. Truly, we will miss them and our prayers will follow them daily.
