Mental Health and the Church

This panel interview will include Christian panelists who work with mental health in a range of professions. Studies show that about 50% of the population will experience at least one mental health struggle in their lifetime. While the rates of certain illnesses like depression are slightly less among Christians, Christians report significantly more obstacles like stigma, judgment, and lack of support in getting their mental health needs addressed. This panel discussion will circle around how to normalize conversations in the church setting about mental health needs.
